Course Outline

All our classes are designed to cater for beginners with no previous experience, however if you have thrown before we can run you through a refresher and you can progress at a more rapid pace. You will learn to throw simple shapes off the wheel and then how to trim and glaze them. By the end of this 8 week course you will have your own hand made cups and/or bowls to take home. Advanced students are able to progress onto more complex shapes, lidded vessels, larger vessels and sets of pieces. The classes are kept small with places  limited to 8 people per class, so you will have lots of one on one tuition. The course fee includes the use of studio tool kits, wheels, apron, clay, glazes, 2.5kg of firing. Students are asked to bring a towel to each class, everything else you need is provided.

Course Fee

$495 (incl. GST)
